Research
Our initial research and development efforts were made possible through a unique operating agreement with the University of Kentucky Research Foundation, which allows us to take advantage of the multi-million-dollar research facilities, industry leading experts, and a large enthusiastic population of bright young students.
We have contracted research from Antioxidant Power Labs (AOP), based out of Toulouse, France, which specializes in in-vitro analysis of anti-oxidative compounds and plant extracts. This relationship has allowed us to use analytical data to differentiate our recovery product (Ctrl-Z) from our competitors.
KenAgra Health headquarters is centrally located on the University of Kentucky campus in the college of Agriculture, Food, and Environment (CAFE).
Product Development
The University of Kentucky has proven to be an excellent partner for front-end research and development endeavors, and we have partnered with Archer Daniel Midland (ADM) Nutrition (formerly Wild Flavors), headquartered in Erlanger, KY. ADM Nutrition is a pioneer and leader in innovative ingredients, nutrition, flavor profiles, proportionality, and organoleptic properties.
Manufacture, Supply, and Distribution
As part of its end-to-end strategy of product development, manufacture, marketing, and fulfillment, KenAgra Health relies on nationally based and recognized partners for ingredient supply, product manufacture and order fulfillment for the entire US market.
Sandstrom Partners, based in Portland, Oregon, is our branding partner, including primary and secondary package design and development. Sandstrom Partners has a substantial history developing successful brands in industrial design, marketing, and product development, including the Bulleit Bourbon bottle and its secondary packaging, as well as leading brands such as Chase Bank, Miller Lite, ESPN, The Portland Trailblazers, Zoom Video Communications, among others.
